ZTE has unveiled two new products, with the MF91S mobile hotspot and MF820S2 USB modem. Both support the FD-LTE and TD-LTE high-speed mobile broadband standards that are becoming more and more popular in worldwide markets. The devices are best suited for China, thanks to TD-SCDMA and EDGE network compatibility when there is no LTE connection available.

The USB modem is said to be capable of reaching TD-LTE speeds as fast as 68Mbps and peak at up to 100Mbps FD-LTE speeds. It is compatible with major networks and providers around the world. It includes a 270-degree rotator arm and an integrated antenna.

The mobile hotspot is powered by a 2,300mAh battery and weighs 105g. It also gets a microUSB port and a SIM card slot. It is well suited for notebooks and those who need a fast mobile broadband connection for multiple devices.

Exactly how many wireless devices the new modem and hotspot will support isn’t being revealed, nor are their prices and ship dates. The devices are likely to arrive in China, as the TD-LTE and FD-LTE networks are due to arrive there first.
