Lucasfilm along with its overlord, Disney, has given us many Star Wars saga tales across multiple media types, since 1977 it has been a galaxy far, far away told in multimedia.

Now we have learned Gareth Edwards’s Rogue One: A Star Wars, which came to the big screen on December 16, 2016, and was written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy will be coming to a comic book store near you starting this June.

The film gave us recreations of young Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing. (Please feel to debate the value, or lack of value of those visuals below.) Even with the criticism for its pacing, the film has strong acting, story, musical score and cinematography. Plus, Rogue One grossed $1 billion worldwide, becoming the second-highest-grossing film of 2016. The film gave us Cassian Jeron Andor, portrayed by actor Diego Luna, who was the focus the prequel television series Andor (2022–2025).

Today we got word Marvel comics is celebrating 10 years of ‘Rogue One‘ with some new prequel adventures!

“From the moment the first images of Cassian, Jyn, Saw, Baze, and Chirrut were revealed fans have wanted to know more about the brave outsiders who risked everything to help combat the Galactic Empire and its terrifying superweapon, and to learn more about what Vader was doing before A New Hope,” Lucasfilm Senior Editor Robert Simpson told io9. “We always knew the end of Rogue One wouldn’t be the end of their stories, and we’re so excited for fans to get these glimpses into their pasts.”
