DC Comics has announced an Absolute Universe event is coming towards the end of 2026. This is not shocking since the Absolute Universe has become one of DC’s most critically acclaimed publishing lines, with titles such as Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, Absolute Superman, Absolute Green Lantern, Absolute Flash, and Absolute Martian Manhunter. Plus the books have had chart‑topping sales, as well.
Sadly, we don’t have more to share when it comes to the Absolute Universe event. Just that it is coming in the 4th quarter of 2026.

Absolute Green Arrow #1
So here is what we know about Absolute Green Arrow #1. The book drops on May 20, 2026 and it being written by Pornsak Pitcheshote with artist Rafael Albuquerque doing the visuals. The book picks up after the murder of Oliver Queen, with a mysterious serial killer called The Longbow Hunter killing the billionaires who killed Oliver Queen with investigator Dinah Lance, AKA Black Canary, hot on his trail.

Then on June 10, Absolute Catwoman #1 from Che Grayson and Scott Snyder, with art by Bengal. the series was announced at the last New York Comic Con. It’s timeline is set between Selina leaving Gotham in Absolute Batman, and when she returned.
