The Yelp has now added full iPad support in version 5 of their free app, now available on the App Store.
For iPad owners, the company has added a photo search of businesses, the ability to rate and write reviews in-app and a new landscape map-and-list view.
Yelp’s daily-updated information helps users find restaurants, gas stations and other businesses in their area. For devices with cameras, the Yelp app can use Monocle to overlay business information onto the camera’s view.
The app is available in English, Dutch, French and Germany, and covers listings for most major metropolitan areas in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Ireland, German, Austria and the Netherlands. The app works with all iOS devices capable of running iOS 3.0 or higher.
