Windows Phone 7 Developers Get Sneak Peak at Copy/Paste (Video)

Microsoft has been giving devs a peak at the upcoming copy and paste update for Windows Phone 7. Two developers claimed to have received the update upon connecting their pre-release Samsung Taylor phones to the Zune Windows app.   See Video Below

The copy and paste function works by letting users tap a word to select it, expanding the selection thanks to a pair of arrows and press icons similar to those in Office 2010. No other updates were included in the new software.

Microsoft didn’t include copy and paste in time for the launch because it would delay the launch date. A larger update is still expected sometime in January that would address other shortcomings in the OS, including CDMA support.
