Verizon Adding Apps, Features, and Fixes to LG Revolution

Posted by at 11:31 am on March 19, 2012

Verizon Wireless today said that it is offering a system update to the LG Revolution. The update does not install Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but does add a few new features. The chief new tool that will arrive with the update is Verizon’s remote diagnostic software, which will let Verizon’s technical support staff view the user’s device remotely to help with trouble shooting. The update also adds the Verizon Video application, and fixes bugs related to AVI video playback via HDMI, the alarm clock, Dolby Mobile presets, text messaging, back key functionality, and a reboot issue. The update can be downloaded over the air.
