Twitter has removed the desktop client for Mac from the app store and will soon no longer support it.
“We’re focusing our efforts on a great Twitter experience that’s consistent across platforms. So, starting today the Twitter for Mac app will no longer be available for download, and in 30 days will no longer be supported,” Twitter announced Friday.
Twitter’s Support team is recommending Mac owners use Twitter.com. Not greatl advice for those who prefer the convenience of a desktop client.
Now few people loved the app; its rating on the Mac App Store was 1.7 out of five stars.
