Toshiba has revealed that it will be releasing three 4K televisions in the United States, shortly after similar Ultra HD televisions go on sale in Japan. Starting in August, the L9300U series of UHDTVs will go on sale with a choice of three screen sizes, all of which will use the company’s CEVO 4K Quad+Dual Core processor and CQ Engine for image processing and upscaling HD content to 4K resolution.

The L9300U range includes screens measuring 58 inches, 65 inches, and 84 inches, all of which have a refresh rate of 240Hz and built-in Wi-Fi, Miracast, and WiDi support. Smart functions are also available through Toshiba’s Cloud TV service, which includes streaming videos, sharing content with other DLNA devices, and a searchable TV guide.

The 58-inch model of the Toshiba L9300U is expected to sell for $5,000, while the 65 and 84-inch models are priced at $7,000 and $17,000 respectively.
