The Official iOS App for WWDC 2013 Is Out!

Posted by at 4:25 pm on June 3, 2013

Apple has launched an official iOS app for WWDC 2013, which begins June 10th. The title is a free download for iPhones and iPads, and is the first WWDC app to incorporate daily session video updates, which as promised should allow registered developers to keep up with sessions even when they can’t attend in person.

The app is also Apple’s first for WWDC to incorporate Passbook support, which should make it easier to register at Moscone West.

The main function of the app is providing times and locations for WWDC events, which can be folded into a custom schedule. It also provides access to news, maps, and notifications, plus event feedback and daily submitted photos. Apple remarks that when viewing videos, positions will be synced between iOS devices.
