TextNowTextNow today said it is adding support for international calling to more than 150 countries around the globe.

Moreover, the cloud-based communications company will let customers earn credits towards their bill or international calls. The new service allows TextNow users to use their existing number to call countries at low international rates. Some of the countries include China, India, and Mexico.

The app lets people see the rate for each country prior to connecting the call so users have an idea of how much the entire call might cost. Further, TextNow is making all calls and texts between the U.S. and Canada free to all users, even those who use the free version of the TextNow app. Support for international calling will roll out slowly over the next few months to those who register for the beta.

Customers willing to watch video ads or participate in surveys can earn credits towards future service or calls, says TextNow. TextNow’s service relies on VoIP to connect calls. TextNow users can place calls from their cell phone, tablet, or PC as long as they have an internet connection.

The app is available to Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Windows.
