Two Windows Phones – the Dell Venue Pro and HTC HD7, both on T-Mobile – are starting to get the copy-paste software update that was previously scheduled for early March.
With T-Mobile’s testing complete, Microsoft actually is delivering both Windows Phone 7 updates at the same time. The first one, which prepares the phones for the copy-paste update and was originally scheduled for February, is still being tested on the other Windows Phones available in the U.S.: the HTC Surround, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus, all on AT&T.
If you have a Venue Pro, Dell posted a blog entry that explains the update process. The company also noted that it will soon push an update of its own for “additional enhancements/fixes” specific to the Venue Pro.
