Sony is finally catchup to the Xbox 360 and meeting long time wanted from PS3 gamers today with the addition of DualShock 3 Charging Dock to its PS3 accessory line.
The DualShock 3 Charging Station can power up two DualShock 3 or Sixaxis controllers without having to plug into an actively running PS3. Sony didn’t say how quickly the controllers would charge, but cradling the gamepads needs an adapter for each gamepad, one of which is included in the box.
The dock will ship to Japan on April 21 for about $65.
