The Sonos Controller app for Android and iOS devices received an update that improves functionality and adds features to both versions. A blog post on Sonos’ web page described the new features, chief among which is optimization for 7-inch and 10-inch Android tablets.
The Android version also supports landscape mode and features a resized album art screen. The iOS version is now optimized for display on Retina devices, and users can now control the volume on a Sonos system using the physical volume buttons on their devices.
