Sonicfire Announce Plug-Ins for Adobe Premiere, After Effects

SmartSound’s Sonicfire, a program that draws from an all-digital royalty-free music library and allows users to re-arrange, re-time and otherwise customize the music to fit their exact needs, has unveiled two plug-in versions of the program for (respectively) Adobe’s Premiere and After Effects video-editing programs. To celebrate the release, the company is also offering both plug-ins in a combo sale at significant savings.

Sonicfire Pro 5 offers a library of thousands of digital music files that can be altered to emphasize different instruments, shifted to create a different mood and tailored to precise time lengths. The plug-in versions allow video editors to being scoring a video clip right within the CS 5.0 or CS 5.5 version of Premiere or After Effects. Users can scan the entire SmartSound library for music, customize the sound to their liking and then “send” the music directly to their open video project, ready to be dragged into the timeline.

The company is currently offering both the Premier and After Effects plug-in versions of SonicFire for $80, compared to their usual separate cost of $50 each. Users can also opt to add additional music libraries at the time of ordering for $15 each, and can upgrade to the full Scoring Edition of Sonicfire 5 Pro for an additional $100
