“Glee” star Lea Michele will be joining “Sons of Anarchy” for a guest role in the show’s upcoming final season.
Michele will play Gertie, a truck stop waitress and single mother who connects with Katey Sagal’s Gemma in the sixth episode, which will air Oct 14. (Sagal, interestingly enough, has also guest starred on “Glee” as the mother of Kevin McHale’s Artie).
The singer-actress tweeted the news:

Other guest stars for the shows’ seventh season include Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson. Love will play a preschool teacher while Manson will appear as Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison leader whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) encounters.
“I like to do some casting that’s a little bit outside of the box,” Sutter noted at “Sons of Anarchy’s” TCA presentation last week.
