Microsoft has released a new video showcasing the changes that have been made to the Xbox One store as part of its upcoming Xbox One Dashboard update.

In the video above, Larry Hryb and Xbox One Partner Group program manager Richard Irving talk through the redesign, which Microsoft has designed to “group the stuff in your home screen between what’s yours and what could be yours.”

The store area specifically is split into categories for games, apps, movies & TV, and music. Irving also says Microsoft has worked on reducing the number of clicks required to get you to where you need to be, as well as on improving the overall speed of navigation.

The game store features the same vertically scrolling setup as the home screen, and categories are stickied at the top to allow for easier access to different types of content. Watch the video above for more information.

The New Xbox One Experience is considered to be a “major” Xbox One system update and has been scheduled to launch on November 12, along with another long-awaited feature: backwards compatibility.
