3D printing has been getting press lately and has been shown at tech fairs and the like. Now the folks over Sculpteo will make a mini you AKA Avatar Model using 3D printing. All you need to so is send them 2 pictures – one face-on and one profile.
It’s like having a real world Xbox Live avatar or Wii Mii, which you can put on your desk or give as gift.

The Process
- You upload 2 pictures and your comments.
- You approve the model created by Their artists.
- You receive your figure at home within 10 days.

Prices for Sculpteo’s miniAvatars are $74.90 (€60) for the 2.7-inch version and $149.80 for the couple model
