Samsung today announced a new beta trial offering of its Media Hub movie and TV content store. The beta trial is available only to the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II Android smartphone to start. Though Sansung’s Media Hub is installed on a number of its Galaxy-branded devices, this trial is different in that it allows participants to share and view the Media Hub Beta content on their 2011 Samsung Smart TVs.
Samsung said that the initial selection of movie and TV content will be limited, and that the company is looking for feedback from participants on how the service works. Samsung that it will give select participants a $25 credit towards content purchases. Samsung said that this beta trial is the first in a series of programs and services that it plans to release over the next few months
