Audio purveyor Pure is debuting the Evoke F4, an Internet and FM radio with Bluetooth and the ability to stream multiroom audio entertainment, including content from SiriusXM Radio (with subscription). The new streamer is compatible with Pure’s Jongo multiroom music system, and in conjunction with other speakers in the series, enables users to listen to synchronized music throughout their home.

The Evoke F4 is based on the Evoke Flow, and features energy-efficient Class-D audio amplification and in-house DSP (digital signal processing) loudspeaker correction, equalization, and sound profiling. The speaker can record live Internet audio to a user-supplied USB memory stick both instantly and pre-scheduled, boasts touch-sensitive controls, a large graphical OLED display, multiple alarms, a sleep and kitchen timer, input for an iPod or generic MP3 player, a headphone socket, support for the optional matching stereo speaker, and an rechargeable F1 battery pack (sold separately) that gives up to 12 hours of portable listening per charge.

The Evoke F4 will be available late in January for $229. The matching stereo speaker sells for $65, with the battery pack retailing for $47.
