Google┬ásaid it has supplemented Project Fi’s cellular coverage with the addition of U.S. Cellular.

Project Fi already relies on Sprint and T-Mobile for cellular connectivity, and automatically connects to the strongest signal. U.S. Cellular provides LTE service in 23 states, mostly in the Midwest, which will boost Project Fi’s overall footprint.

Google claims its dynamic network-switching technique provides customers with a cellular connection 99% of the time they are using their phones.

Project Fi subscribers will begin to roam onto U.S. Cellular’s network where coverage exists over the coming weeks.
