Two day ago American McGee told the world that folks who purchased Alice: Madness Returns for consoles would get a copy of the original Alice. When we asked Electronic Arts for confirmation, we were told “We have no new news to report for Alice: Madness Returns.”
Today, EA has confirmed and detailed the promotion. Sigh.
So here’s the deal: folks who buy Alice: Madness Returns for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will get a one-time-use “Online Pass” code. This will give them access to the original American McGee’s Alice, available for the first time on consoles. If you want to purchase the game separately (if you don’t buy Madness Returns or buy it used, for instance), it’ll run you $9.99 for PS3 or 800 MS Points for 360.
