Sony Ericsson is giving fans the chance to win a new handset through Mini Magic, a competition located on its global Facebook page that was launched last week to celebrate the Xperia X10 mini being awarded European Mobile Phone of the Year 2010 – 2011.
For those who don’t plan to enter the contest but want to join in with the fun, you can create a mini Facebook avatar of yourself and your friends. Then you can use the avatar can as a profile picture.
To enter the Facebook contest for a chance of winning an Xperia X10 mini or X10 mini pro, all you need to do is upload a creative, cute or crazy photograph of something miniature to the Mini Magic application.
Facebook users around the world can then vote for their favorite photos in the gallery until the competition ends on January 17, 2011. After an entrant has uploaded their photo and it has been approved they can share it on Facebook and Twitter to encourage their friends and followers to vote.
The twenty images with the most votes will then go forward to the final for Sony Ericsson to choose five winners and five runners-up. The prize for each of the five winners is an Xperia X10 mini pro and the runners-up will receive an Xperia X10 mini.
