Forever will soon find itself dealing with a cast member from one of the most popular teen dramas of all-time, as One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer on The WB/CW series for six seasons, has landed a guest role on the new ABC drama.
Burton, who has guested on other series, such as Grey’s Anatomy and White Collar, since she left One Tree Hill after Season 6, will find herself in a much different role than she’s accustomed to. According to Entertainment Weekly, Burton will appear in a November episode of Forever as “a dominatrix who becomes a murder suspect when one of her clients turns up dead. She meets immortal doctor Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) during the investigation, and the two soon start falling for each other.”
Burton recently made headlines, when she, along with her fellow One Tree Hill alums, Sophia Bush (who played Brooke Davis) and Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James Scott), took photographs together at a One Tree Hill convention in Paris, France. In addition to Burton, Bush and Lenz, James Lafferty (Nathan Scott) and Paul Johannson (Dan Scott) were also in attendance. Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott) was not able to attend due to a filming conflict with ABC’s Agent Carter series, which he will be a series regular on.
Burton’s episode of Forever airs on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
