A release date for the upcoming Okami HD on Nintendo Switch has been revealed. Capcom will launch Okami HD on August 9, with it currently available to preorder via the Nintendo eShop.
The news was revealed via the official Okami Twitter account, showcasing a GIF of the touch-controlled Celestial Brush in action on the Switch. Players will be able to utilize the Switch’s touchscreen while in handheld mode to draw with Amaterasu’s tail and solve puzzles.

The Switch port of the remaster was revealed earlier this year during the March 8 Nintendo Direct.
