NVIDIA logoNvidia listed not one, but two new drivers for its GeForce series graphics cards. The most notable of the two is the GeForce driver for Windows 10, but Nvidia also launched a Windows Vista/7/8 driver with version number 352.86.

The Windows 10 driver is the first WHQL-certified driver for Windows 10, and Nvidia’s take on it is that when Windows 10 launches, users shouldn’t have to play their games using an “alpha” or “beta” driver, as stated in this blog post.

WHQL certification is a collection of rigid tests that are performed by Microsoft’s Windows Hardware Qualification Lab in order to guarantee maximum stability. The driver is already available with version number 352.84, so you can get gaming on DirectX12 the moment supporting games launch, which will probably be around the time that Windows 10 launches this summer.

The second driver is a Game-Ready suite for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is set to launch tomorrow. This driver goes by the version number 352.86 and is WHQL-certified. It includes SLI profiles and 1-click best-settings for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in GeForce Experience.
