Warner Bros. has announced the start of principal photography on Christopher Nolan’s last Batman film. Nolan will again be shooting certain sequences in IMAX. As a matter of fact, apparently Nolan will be shooting even more footage in IMAX than he did for The Dark Knight. The sequences from Nolan’s last Batman sequel that had the IMAX touch looked truly spectacular on that giant screen.
Plus, Nolan is re-teaming with cinematographer Wally Pfister, fresh off his Academy Award win for his work on Inception, to shoot The Dark Knight Rises. Hopefully more details on the sequel will be available soon.
