The Nintendo 3DS XL is a hefty piece of portable gaming hardware, and sometimes you may not feel like fumbling around with the tiny little connector on the end of an AC adapter. Currently, Nintendo sells a docking cradle for the 3DS XL, but it’s only available in black. Just in time for Halloween, Club Nintendo members will be able to cash in some coins for giant charging pads in five new hues.
According to the Club Nintendo site, the charging station will set you back 500 coins when it launches in the rewards catalog on October 31–a black 3DS XL charging cradle is currently priced at $19.99 on Nintendo’s online store. Given the exclusivity of the colors, and the way rewards items have a tendency to sell out quickly on Club Nintendo, you may want to plan accordingly.
The new cradles will be available in blue, red, yellow, green, and white. Nintendo announced the Elite Status gifts for Club Nintendo members back in July.
