Netflix today has shipped on the Wii the long promised disc-free option. The Nintendo system can install a Netflix app from Wii Shop and both manage and watch the instant queue in standard definition.
Access works for both Americans and Canadians, with pricing depending on the service. In the US, Netflix costs a minimum of $9 but includes one physical movie rental at a time. Canadians can pay a lower $8 CAD but only have access to streaming videos.
