Namco Bandai will publish the video based on the 2009 film reincarnation of Star Trek.
The action game will launch in 2013 to coincide with the release of a second Star Trek film due May 17.
Studio Digital Extremes, which has also worked on BioShock 2 the recently-released Darkness II, will develop the game.
The Star Trek game, first revealed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo last June, is a cooperative adventure starring Captain Kirk and Spock as they work together to eliminate an alien threat to the galaxy.
