AT&T is starting pre-orders for one of the best Android phones ever on Feb. 13: the Motorola Atrix 4G. The new phone is the first of a new generation of dual-core devices that debuted at CES this year. It will be available for $199 with a two-year contract, AT&T announced today. It will be released on March 6.

The phone runs on a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, has a 4.0-inch full qHD display (bright, 960×540), 1GB of RAM, HSPA+ 4G support, 5MP rear camera, and 1080p video recording. In addition, the phone’s power button doubles as a biometric fingerprint reader, adding a layer of security. It currently runs on Android 2.2.

The real unique quality of the Atrix, however, comes with its accessories. The phone can also be bundled with the Motorola Laptop Dock, which turns it into a full-fledged netbook, complete with Firefox and other applications. The bundle will run $499 after a $100 rebate and added tethering plan.
