Craig Mundie, Microsoft’s Chief Research Officer, while his college tour demonstrated a concept for a future computing interface which does not require any touch input. Although it would support pens for precise input, the transparent glass display would also recognize voices and detect touch-free gestures, much as with the Xbox 360’s upcoming Project Natal. The system can also detect eyes and navigate based on their gaze.

The is no timetable for release and is primarily a test vehicle for technologies Microsoft may release in the furture. Natal is most likely to ship for the 360 in the second half of 2010. Bill Gates has made remarks that Natal may come to the Windows platform in some form in the near future, as well.
