BioWare and Electronic Arts have revealed they will release the action role-playing game Mass Effect 3 on March 6, 2012.
The announcement along with gameplay footage were unveiled during EA’s media briefing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
The follow-up to one of 2010’s best games stars Commander Shepard as he braces for a galactic war on Earth against an alien robotic race called the Reapers.
Earlier today, BioWare revealed the Xbox 360 version of the game will include Kinect support. Players will be able to make dialogue choices using only their voice as well as issue commands to squadmates.
Mass Effect 3 is also launching on PlayStation 3 and PC.
