Mad Catz Announces CeBIT Product Releases

Gaming accessory maker Mad Catz has confirmed their attendance at this year’s CeBit trade fair in Hanover, Germany.   In conjunction with the event, the company has also announced the release of several addition to their existing video game product lines.

Under their “Cyborg” label, the company will be be showing their line of R.A.T. premium gaming mice.   R.A.T. mice are designed for the hard core gamer.   They adapt to fit the ergonomics of your hand, gving you the ability to customize the size, shape and even the finish.   Each of the 4 R.A.T. models also features metal chassis for durability, gaming grade laser sensor, an array of programmable buttons, cutting edge design and premium materials.

Mad Catz will also be featuring new accessories from its “Eclipse” line which include the Wireless liteouch Keyboard, the worlds first to feature a touch sensitive fully re-configurable LCD touch panel, allowing the user to access media shortcuts, web pages and applications at a simple touch of a button.

Also being released is the Saitek Pro Flight X-65F Combat Control System.   It is a premium hands-on throttle and stick flight simulation device (H.O.T.A.S), the X-65F utilizes -˜Force Sensing’ technology.   Designed ot simulate authentic aircraft controls typically found in modern fighter jets, such as the F-16, the X-65F responds to the pressure exerted on the stick resulting in an unprecedented level of precision control.

Visitors to the Mad Catz booth at CeBIT will be able to demo the Super Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition -˜S’ which will be available for public play for the very first time.   Following the success of the renowned first generation of Tournament Edition Arcade FightStick’s, the new -˜S’ FightStick uses commercial-grade Sanwa components for a truly authentic arcade experience.   Expected to ship on Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 formats, the new FightStick features a brand new -˜Slim’ style chassis and is expected to be available alongside the release of the hotly anticipated title in April 2010.
