LG has quietly unveiled its latest Android handset, the Optimus Pro C660 with a Blackberry-like full QWERTY keyboard. The Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) powered handset is said to be on sale in Italy for €179 soon, followed by other markets. It centers on on a 2.8-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Hardware details are scarce, but its price would suggest a mid to entry-level processor, likely to be single core and clocked at around 600MHz.

Other details to emerge so far include that it incorporates a 3-megapixel camera and includes Wi-Fi for connectivity as well as a Quadband 3G radio. It supports H.264 and MPEG 4 video. Audio formats supported include MP3, AMR, AAC and AAC+, while it also includes a 1500mAh removable battery.

Little else is known at this stage, although its Blackberry inspired design suggests that it is aimed at business users
