As the November 11 release date for Dishonored 2 approaches, Bethesda and Arkane Studios are keeping players interested with gameplay footage. Last month, Quakecon attendees were treated with a demo that showed off Corvo’s powers. Now, Bethesda released a new gameplay trailer that focuses on Corvo’s part in the sequel.
Just like in the first game, Corvo plays the role of the Royal Protector to the Queen, Emily Kaldwin (the other playable character in Dishonored 2). However, she is usurped by Delilah, who has powers of her own that rival both Corvo and Emily. Determined to restore Emily to the throne, Corvo uses his powers and his physical skills to take down anyone that stands in his way. However, it seems that Delilah might be his toughest adversary yet.
With a Corvo-based trailer out of the way, we’ll undoubtedly see another video drop soon that focuses on Emily Kaldwin and her abilities. The last time we saw footage of Emily’s abilities was at Bethesda’s E3 event. We’re also bound to find out more about the new setting of Karnaca before we dive back into Dishonored 2 in two months’ time.
