LaCie Releases 24-inch LCD with IPS for Pro Imaging

LaCie today releases top of the market  desktop LCD for pro image editing. The 24-inch 324i uses a 1920×1200 P-IPS panel with 10-bit color per channel and consequently offers near-total coverage of the color ranges visual editors need. It can reach 98 percent of the Adobe RGB color gamut and a better-than-full 102 percent coverage of what NTSC video can use.

The screen produces just a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio, but combined with backlight stabilization is still vivid per LaCie. LaCie promises that the 324i is friendly to hardware calibration and bundles it with test software to gauge its accuracy. Video input posrts are DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI.    Plus there are  three USB ports.

You can ordered the 324i today for  $1,249.
