KUL, short for Keyed Up Labs, has introduced a new mechanical keyboard – a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard called the ES-87.

The keyboard is built using Cherry MX switches, though it is unclear which color options there are. Included with the keyboard are additional Esc, Caps Lock, Left Ctrl, Backspace, and Backslash keys, which can be placed in different locations depending on the user’s preferences. Using the configuration DIP switches, the key actions can be configured accordingly. There are also LEDs under the Esc, Scroll Lock, Left Ctrl and Caps Lock keys, though depending on where the keycaps are placed, these LEDs might or might not be visible.

KUL has also equipped the keyboard with a detachable cable. The included cable is a two-meter long USB A to US Mini-B cable.

Also present on the keyboard are media keys, though they are only accessible through the use of the Fn switch, as the functions are integrated with some of the F-keys. The keyboard also has N-Key rollover support, so your cat will be perfectly able to press every key it wants simultaneously to disrupt your work.

Pricing for the keyboard is set at $129 with availability scheduled for June.
