Samsung has started to roll-out its Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update to the Galaxy S III smartphone. Starting with international editions of the handset and mimicking its recent update for the Note 10.1, Samsung will be adding something called the Premium Suite Upgrade, which includes a number of contextual features and other items that are are already being used by users of the Galaxy Note II.

The Galaxy S III’s contextual awareness features have been updated to show the most frequently used programs, contextual tagging has also been added, as well as a predictive app called Page Buddy that automates some functions based on a user’s actions. Multi-window support, a Facebook ticker for the lock screen, and automatic sharing of images and videos via NFC have also been included.

Though the update is hitting international editions today, carrier-specific iterations are slated to appear in the not-too-distant future.
