iPhones 11 Packs Ultra-Wideband Chip for Directional AirDrop, Bluetooth Audio Sharing

There some nice features for the upcoming iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro you might have missed.

Fisrt off those you you how travel together and/or like to sharing a movie or music with brother those around is Bluetooth Audio Sharing. The new iPhones let you Pair two sets of AirPods or Beats headphones to one iPhone. Let’s hope this feature comes to future iPads, as well.

Since the new phones now pack and Ultra Wideband chip for spatial awareness, it means you can Airdrop by pointing to another iPhone 11! This is made possible by the new U1 chip, which can determine the relative location of other devices with U1 chips nearby.

Apple promises “amazing new capabilities” thanks to the new chip. The first new feature to utilize the U1 is AirDrop, which now lets you choose who to send a file to by simply pointing your phone at theirs.
