Apple as part of the iPhone 4S release confirmed the poorly kept secret that it would release the iPhone on Sprint for the first time. It will take advantage of the iPhone 4S’ dual-mode CDMA and GSM to hop online, although Sprint hasn’t said if its version will roam on GSM. The design will be the exact same model as for AT&T and Verizon owners.
Pricing should stay the same as well, at $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB. Pre-orders start at the same October 7 date and will see it go on sale October 14.
