Neon has debuted the first Red Band trailer for Ingrid Goes West, the dark comedy starring Aubrey Plaza (Legion) and Elizabeth Olsen (Captain America: Civil War). Check out the crazy Ingrid Goes West trailer below.
Following the death of her mother and a series of self-inflicted setbacks, young Ingrid Thorburn (Plaza) escapes a humdrum existence by moving out West to befriend her Instagram obsession and LA socialite Taylor Sloane (Olsen). After a quick bond is forged between these unlikeliest of friends, the façade begins to crack in both women’s lives — with comically malicious results.
Directed by Matt Spicer and written by Spicer and David Branson Smith, the film co-stars O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) and Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street).
Ingrid Goes West arrives in theaters on August 4.
