HTC this morning launched the Gratia. The device is an international version of AT&T’s Aria but improves on the formula by shipping with Android 2.2 and removing AT&T’s ban on non-Market apps. It also has the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI and more unique color schemes, including white and forest green.
The inside is a mid-range 600MHz processor, a 3.2-inch 320×480 LCD, a five-megapixel camera and usual extras such as GPS and Wi-Fi. 3G on the Gratia is tuned to the 900MHz and 2,100MHz bands commonly used in Europe.
HTC plans to ship the Gratia in November but hasn’t given out prices or carriers.
