Google today provided an update to the Android version of Google Voice. The new version now more seamlessly integrates with the native call log and voicemail features of the Android 4.0 platform. Voicemails left for a user’s Google Voice number will appear alongside voicemails left on the regular numbers. Users can listen to Google Voice voicemails from the native voicemail screen, which also adds controls for slowing down and speeding up playback of voicemail messages. The new Google Voice features require Android 4.0 and up, and the app can be downloaded from the Android Market for free.
