20th Century Fox has released four posters for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes which you can check out in the gallery viewer below! The studio has also announced that the trailer will come online on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
Opening in theaters on July 11, 2014, the Matt Reeves-directed sequel stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer.
In the film, a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
