Apartment Guide has announced that its free iPad App is now available in the App Store. The app gives users the ability to easily search apartment listings from their iPad.
“Over the last few years, we’ve aggressively grown our online and mobile presence through offerings like our iPhone app,” said Arlene Mayfield, president, Apartment Guide. “Now, our iPad app represents the perfect alignment in taking our online, print and mobile offerings and building upon those learnings and best practices to meet consumer needs -“ anytime, anywhere.”
Features of the app include:
- Search for apartments by entering in city, state or zipcode.
- Use advanced search to search by radius, sort criteria, property types, beds, bath, price and amenities.
- View apartment details page.
- Search by prominent map.
“Looking at our analytics from our Apartment Guide iPhone app, we saw that the majority of people preferred to see search results in a map view versus the default list view,” said David Quinlan, general manager, Emerging Technologies, Apartment Guide. “We applied this learning to our iPad App by taking advantage of the larger display size. iPad users will have more readable text and layout to also showcase apartment details.”
Apartment Guide launched the apartment industry’s first iPhone app in October 2008. The Apartment Guide App is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
