dreamGEAR, maker of video game accessories has announced the release of several new products.

First is the new Shadow Wireless, the first PlayStation 3 wireless controller featuring uniquely relocated analog sticks for enhanced accuracy and comfort.

Designed with a state of the art stick configuration, rubberized grips, improved L2 and R2 buttons, latency-free wireless technology, dual rumble motors and a built-in rechargeable battery. dreamGEAR endeavors to design from the gamers’ perspective and continuously strives to improve the game play experience while raising industry standards.

The Shadow Wireless was designed so that the analog sticks are no longer in an awkward placement, but instead positioned on the controller to feel more natural to the gamer’s hands. The new design makes it easier to hold and maneuver, resulting in the most comfortable, precise controller ever offered for PS3.

“At dreamGEAR, we focus on innovation that enhances the gaming experience,” says Richard Weston, dreamGEAR COO. “We saw that gamers were unsatisfied with traditional controllers, which inspired us to create the Shadow Wireless to improve accuracy and comfort for more accurate and enjoyable game play.”

dreamGEAR’s Shadow Wireless is $39.99 and is available now.

Next is the Quad Dock series, a   compact controller and battery pack charger compatible with the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, or Xbox 360.   Setting a new standard for chargers by powering up to four controllers or battery packs simultaneously, the design of the Quad Docks ensure that regardless of which system you play or how many controllers you have, you never have to worry about having an uncharged battery or controller.

The Quad Dock units feature four charging wells, custom LED charging indicators that signal when the controllers are dead, charging, or fully charged, and a narrow design that allows the dock to be tucked neatly away into small spaces. The PS3 Quad Dock Pro has the capability to charge up to four Dual Shock 3 controllers at once, while the Xbox 360 Quad Dock Pro charges up to four Xbox 360 rechargeable battery packs. This eliminates the need for additional cords to power up controllers through the Xbox 360 system.   The Quad Dock Plus model for Wii brings life back to up to four Wii remotes and includes a bonus dock for four rechargeable AA batteries, which can be used to power the popular Nintendo Wii Fit Board.

“dreamGEAR realized there is a need for a more convenient and manageable way to charge and store multiple controllers,” said dreamGEAR COO Richard Weston. “As any gamer will tell you, storing a system, four controllers and a charger beneath a television can make for a crowded entertainment center, and the Quad Dock series was designed with this in mind to relieve this problem for fans of any console system.”

Each model in the Quad Dock series charges via any standard wall outlet using the included AC adapter.   This compatibility along with the series’ space-saving qualities makes the Quad Dock the most practical controller chargers on the market.   Each model in the series was developed to inconspicuously match the aesthetic of the gaming system it works with through corresponding materials and color scheme.

The dreamGEAR Quad Dock is  available from  $29.99-$39.99 depending on platform.

dreamGEAR has also collaborated with B.C. Rich, a renowned developer of heavy metal guitars known for pushing the envelope, to produce the WarBeast guitar controller to be used with Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Rock Revolution.

Compatible with the Playstation 3 system, the WarBeast controller is a life-size replica guitar of the distinctive design made famous by B.C. Rich.   The officially licensed guitar brings realism to gaming by bridging the gap between professional guitars and gaming equipment with its full size and world famous design.

“The WarBeast is simply the most stylized, functional and customizable guitar controller on the market that brings an unmatched experience to hardcore gamers.   With the ever-rising popularity of Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Rock Revolution, dreamGEAR wanted to produce a guitar controller that looked and felt as lifelike as possible,” says Richard Weston, dreamGEAR COO.   “Teaming up with B.C. Rich to create a full-size controller with the WarBeast design allowed us to provide users with something unlike they have ever seen before.   The WarBeast throws them right onto the stage as they handle the same guitar that their favorite heavy metal legends rock out with.”

Featuring a removable neck and made of lightweight materials, the WarBeast provides users with   portability whether bringing it to friends’ homes or outside competitions.   An enhanced strum bar, responsive whammy bar and Star Power button provide a more intense gaming experience for even the best players, and 2.4 GHz wireless technology eliminates unruly cords.   Additional faceplates that are sold separately give users the option to individualize the WarBeast.

The WarBeast is the first product to come from what will be a long-term relationship between dreamGEAR and B.C. Rich as they work together to produce additional guitar controllers replicated from B.C. Rich’s other popular models.   Available now for $99.99.
