THR is reporting that Die Hard 2 director Renny Harlin will direct Hercules 3D from Millennium Films, which has been in development since 2007 . The script is written by Sean Hood and Hanna Weg.
“It’s not a comic book, cartoony fantasy thing,” Harlin said. “It’s closer to Gladiator than flying horses.”
Hercules 3D is set to be released in March of 2014.
Please note there is another Hercules film in the works by MGM and Paramount Pictures starring Dwayne Johnson.
