Denon plans to bringing iTunes AirPlay support to its AVR-4311CI audio/video receiver. Compatibility is with the wireless streaming platform is expected to be added sometime in the fall, allowing users to play iTunes tracks throughout the home. The 4311CI has an Ethernet port for AirPlay connectivity.
Denon’s AVR-4300CI retails for $2000. The AirPlay standard will be supported by devices from other manufacturers such as Marantz, Bowers & Wilkins, JBL and iHome, among others.
