Dell Unveils Vostro 3000 Laptop Line

Dell bolstered their business-centric Vostro laptop computer line with three new models: the 3360, 3460, and 3560. The new models are available in Aberdeen Silver, Brisbane Bronze and Lucerne Red and cater towards the budget-minded mobile professional.

All three models have a Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor standard, with Ivy Bridge i5 and i7 upgrade options. In addition, the models come with 4GB of RAM, a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive, a standard full size spill-resistant keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, Windows 7 Home Premium, 802.11a/b/g/n, USB 3.0, a VGA port, an HDMI port, an 8-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, and a DVD-RW drive.

All three models have a default resolution of 1366×768 regardless of screen size. The Vostro 3360 has a 13-inch screen. The 14- and 15-inch Vostro 3460 and 3560 have a 34mm Express Card slot and generally carry more upgrade options such as a 32GB mSATA SSD, and discrete graphics chipset upgrade options. The Vostro 3560 has an optional 1920×1080 display upgrade. The Vostro 3360 and 3460 have an optional HSPA 2.0/EVDO-HSPA mini-card available.

The Vostro 3560 is available now starting at $599. The Vostro 3360 and 3460, starting at $649 and $599 respectively, will be available on June 21.
