The Expendables co-writer Dave Callaham has been brought in on the Wonder Woman sequel to help Patty Jenkins and DC chief Geoff Johns work on the script.

The news comes days after Jenkins officially closed her deal to co-write, direct and produce the sequel to the $816 million worldwide grossing first film which earned raves from all sides this Summer.

Jenkins and Johns have been working on a treatment for several months, now Callaham (who has a story credit on 2014’s Godzilla) will help out with actually penning the screenplay.

Little is known about the storyline beyond it jumping ahead by several decades from the first World War setting. She has previously suggested an American setting during the Cold War.
